The GEL-NYC was inspired by traditional and modern performance running styles.

The upper material is inspired by the GEL-NIMBUS 3 from the early 2000s, combined with embellishments from the design of the GEL-MC-PLUS V.

The midsole system of the GEL-CUMULUS 16 offers a contrast to the retro influences of the upper. The midsole, with a combination of lightweight foam and GEL technology inserts, offers enhanced comfort.
